The Women of Harvest
 Have you ever felt like you were in a storm, and you could not see what direction you were headed in? Did you feel scared, alone, or angry because no matter how hard you tried to steer in the right direction, the ship of life seemed to go the other way? Well, you are not alone. The majority of women in today's society feel this way on a daily basis. A ship in a storm has the security of a lighthouse to guide them safely along their voyage. The lighthouse has a keeper to make sure that fiery light beaming from the top does not burn out. The Women of Harvest want to be that lighthouse in your life. Today in Northwest Indiana, many women are in search of that fiery light. Unfortunately, they become weary in their search. Like a lighthouse, the Women of Harvest want to help women figure out their location and warn them of impending dangers. There should be no excuse for a woman to have to fight the storm herself. We are here to be the crew that is needed to support the ship and provide guidance until the ship is safe again. Once the ship is safe, that woman can become a team member helping another ship lost at sea.
The Women of Harvest Baptist Fellowship are very excited to introduce our Women's Ministry. Women are very special to Harvest and Harvest wants to make sure that all of their needs are being met. The Women of Harvest have been praying for almost a year and God has been very visible in the outcomes that have been generated from those prayers. The goal of the Women of Harvest is to meet the needs of any women that call upon this ministry. Too many times women fall to stress, worry and depression. All of these could be prevented by having friends that are willing to sacrifice their time, energy and resources to meet those needs. Unfortunately, they cannot meet needs if the needs are not known. If you are a woman who is in need, please do not hesitate to call out for help. Those who call out and receive will be able to return the kindness by meeting the needs of other women. We all have been pre-programmed with different gifts in order to make us dependent on one another and to enable us to support one another. The Women of Harvest are using those gifts for just that purpose.
